Rietvelt Chair Nickel discovered the work of Gerrit Rietvelt during a trip to Europe. He designed and made four dining room chairs in the style of Rietvelt’s “Red Blue chair” and presented them as a wedding present to his brother Joel. The chairs were later sold to the St. Louis collector Adam Aronson. |
