Power of the Possible Self Source material for this drawing was an article on self-esteem and the cultivation of it in children through parental and school effort. Generally, the idea that this concept of “self” is actually an object within the personality, something that can be gazed upon as a shrine or altar piece. The drawing became a study for a three dimensional sculpture embodying this idea but never executed. |
