Untitled This painting was completed in 1975 after the St. Louis Art Museum purchase in April of that year. It simplifies the original crosshatching basket weave grid overlay by having three plane sheaths intersect in the center. The inverted “T” in the background set a symmetrical base for the asymmetrical placement of the grid overlay. |
