Running Fix  (Aggregate Images)
1996 | New York City
Etching | H: 18/46 W: 12/30 (in/cm)
Disposition: Brauer Museum of Art at Valparaiso University

Most of the etchings were studies for imaginary sculpture. While an artist has control over the making of a sculpture, usually, he has no control over the context for siting it. Since the context always influences perception of the work, these etchings allow control of the context as well. “Running Fix” is a type of navigation. In this print a logarythmic spiral generates a form in space.
