Receiver Copy TA sheet of found plywood was cut in a 1:2 horizontal progression and reassembled with a corrugated support. The words, “Receiver Copy” were stenciled on the left side and numbers on the right, to indicate the number and order of pieces as the work was being cut. The title refers to the process of transformation. There is the original copy--the plywood sheet, and the “receiver copy,” the viewer being the “receiver” of the final work. |
